     Sheldon Carpenter is a recent graduate of Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania.  He received his BA in Theatre and Arts Administration in the Spring of 2014.  He has worked on numerous projects including Neil LaBute's Reasons To Be Pretty and The Shape of Things, Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire, Sarah Ruhl's Eurydice and  Keith Huff's A Steady Rain to name a few!  Sheldon has been recognized at the regional level by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for his directorial work on The Shape of Things as well as his assistant directorial work on A Streetcar Named Desire and Ordinary Days.

 

     Sheldon was the production intern for the Sprout network, one of cable's favorite preschool programming networks, and was an advocate for music education in Berks County through his service as the administrative assistant of the Reading Musical Foundation.  He recently served as the Administrative Intern for the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation in Midtown Manhattan and currently presides as the Artistic Director for Torrent Theatre, a greater-New York-area-based collective of theatre artists, using art to make a positive change in society.  www.torrenttheatre.com
